Miles Latham is a Co-Director of the Data Services practice.  He specializes in designing fast, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines in support of complex econometric analyses. He has consulted on a wide variety of data engineering tasks in antitrust & class action litigation across numerous industries, including transportation, pharmaceuticals, energy, and professional sports.

As a data engineering specialist, Mr. Latham has extensive experience handling large, complex, and sparse datasets, and applying optimization techniques to take advantage of recent advances in machine learning and parallel computing.

His analytical work additionally includes natural language processing, hashing & anonymizing of sensitive data, graph theory, agent-based modeling, sensitivity analysis & model validation. Mr. Latham also brings experience in cybersecurity risk modeling, change management, & policy adherence.
